I was having Larry’s inner monologue with myself over lunch, not an hour ago. It’s an ever losing battle.

Yep. Your frontal lobe has other things to get on to. But your brain stem cans sit around ALL DAY firing off obsolete old signals telling you that fat and sweets are rare and wonderful.

Your kids will thank you when they’re in their 40’s and still don’t need glasses. Rolling your eyes is a good ophthalmic exercise.

“When the frontal lobe is away, the brain stem will play.” So the brain stem distracts the frontal lobe with a movie, and happily munches away! Later the frontal lobe looks in the mirror and wonders what went wrong.
