Having sold his first comic at age 19, Ralph Hagan saw early success in the comics business, with work also featured in The Saturday Evening Post Reader's Digest while he pursued a separate full-time career. In 2004, Ralph began cartooning full-time with passion.
Currently residing in the country west of Edmonton, Alberta, Ralph and Brenda make room in their family for three cats, a dog and four horses. Near farms with barns, of course.
Ralph would like to dedicate "The Barn" is dedicated to Ralph’s father Stan Hagan (his biggest fan) who passed away in 2004 -- and sincerely hopes they get the comics in heaven.

Considering that most gas pumps have warnings, ‘dangerous if swallowed’ and ‘use as motor fuel only’ .. and you know were put there after the fact … one wonders if it is possible to overestimate the intelligence of some people.
There’s a Youtube video of some teenager setting fire to his own crotch … screaming … and his friends rush over and stomp it out!

I like the one we have on public wastebins over here in Britain. “Rubbish and wrapped dog waste only”. I have yet to see anyone depositing unwrapped dog waste. (Or throw away a tiara . . . )

I love the disclaimer “Real People” — as opposed to, say, Fembots???

If you’re not allowed to try it, how do you become a trained professional?
Ned Snipes said, 4 months ago
You have to wonder, are the warnings there because someone actually did it? Duh YES! why else…
daniel_bel said, 4 months ago
That wouldn’t be a concern, but they did it aAND then tried to sue for responsibility!

So there you have it Rory! It is not really to warn the public but to brag upon ones self as in “trained professional”.

@win
Before I retired, I knew several, but not for long, who obviously had lied on their resumés. At the point I knew them, they were still employed; so I guess they counted as professionals.
Hadn’t seen Yappy in a while. Glad he’s still around.

Makes one wonder why a chain saw had the instruction that it should not be stopped by using the genitals.

My favorite disclaimer is on the Allstate commercial when Mayhem is just lying on the garage roof.
