    I think the common Spanish line would be “¿Que paso?”, directly translated as “What has happened?”. It’s used somewhat like “What’s up?” in English.

    I was just thinking that a smart-ass cartoonist could use Japanese or Chinese ideograms to get around bluenose objections to scatology, profanity, or obscenity, since most censors wouldn’t have any idea what they say. What DO they say, anyone know?

    你好吗? Literally translated it says “Are you good?” but actually saying “How are you doing?”
    or simply Whaaaazuppp! in Chinese :-)
