Ten abandoned cats live in an old warehouse where they are looked after by a young girl named Annie. They include Chesney, the ringleader, Jack, his sidekick, and Oliver - a wide-eyed kitten. The warehouse contains a boardroom on the very top floor, where, unbeknownst to Annie the moggies conduct the world's business through the eyes of a cat.

That is so true, words are certainly not necessary. I think it’s more than obvious what Woof wants and needs. I would love to be the one to provide the hugs and cuddles

And Graham.. yesterday you kinda apologised about Annie’s changing height…. and somebody mentioned her bills…
To me, the “funny” is what matters.
So I replied to you, but I doubt you came back so late…
Hope nobody minds if I re-post this:
"Graham…. it doesn’t matter at all.
Cartoons are allowed special perspective.
Cartoon characters don’t have to pay bills, either.
How do Rat and Pig pay their rent? Mickey and Minnie?
Cartoon physics."

And tri colored torties like to talk to you and are so intellegent. And good hunters. Our little Toshie would bring us birds, snakes, voles a full grown raven (How?) a hummingbird ( again how?) and she was of the “catch and release” school! The raven had been eating blueberries all day and did a number on our bedroom. She carried it all the way thru the garage, up the stairs and into our bedroom. The hummingbird had to be let go by removing the skylight on the roof, 2 stories up. There will never be one like her! I simply love this strip!

Oh, and we couldnt find the raven, only his handiwork, the next morning he walked out of the closet. We shooed him out the window. And threw away the drapes (they were white)

We have coyotes up here in Washington too, and eagles. Our cats stay indoors now!

Yes! Also I’ve found that, within a household, cats seem to assume various duties. For example, when I had ‘Mantha, she was the “official greeter/ambassador felid” when people came to visit, and Barney & Bico would run and hide. (Barney would sometimes eventually come out and observe from a distance.) Now that ’Mantha’s passed on, Barney has assumed the role of greeter.

I had an applehead Siamese a few decades ago who could say “I don’t wanna.” In English. A bit weak on the consonant sounds, but the vowels and inflection were all there and always in the proper order.

Hi Susan, Debbie and all -
thanks for your thoughts …
much appreciated.
Yes – lots of room for fun and creativity
here – all part of life in the comics.
As regards the different personalities -
the cats are letting me know who they
are as we go along.
I am as much surprised at how they turn
out as anyone.
For the record – the cats are called Chesney, Oliver,
Bluebell, Lily, Jack, This Side Up, Route Nine, Woof,
Mr. Hollingsworth and JellyBean.
Thanks for your suggestion about the web page,
Debbie – will give it some thought.
