Don’t worry, ignorant savages who were doing fine without it – here’s a bunch of knowledge that’ll wipe out your traditions.

@hizzonner
The same thing happened to me. I used to be a hillbilly, then I got “cityfied”.

Yes indeed, “great knowledge” which will help you make your own “flying monsters” chief! Howdy Bill will also teach you how to barbeque your meats and sell them to chief Ronald McDonald for McRib sandwiches! The fish you catch in the rivers will be sent to Mrs, Popeye for their fish nuggets…very popular with Cajuns, yet another tribe across the big water in America!
Ah, the benefits of international trade will work for you just like the Chinese who will slaughter all of your animals for profit and superstitious medicinal beliefs!
Yes, this will make Africa “great”! :(> BullSh*tAGowa!!

Don’t make them too healthy. They’ll overpopulate and upset the ecosystem. (Emo’s comment about Dr. Schweitzer in heaven.)

The Kingdom of Tonga used “great knowledge” to purchase communication satellites, contract out to put them in geosynchronous orbit and sell time to various nations for its use.

Yes, Howdy Bill, keep your medicines and vaccines and sanitation and mosquito nets and insecticides and fertilizers and well drills to yourself. Let those “ignorant savages” stay “traditional,” so that Katman and Hizzoner can tour their country and marvel at their poverty.

Yes, we all know the wonderful medicinal properties of ground-up rhino horn…sort of tough on the rhinos, of course. And what about that ivory? Big bucks.
“Wealthy Chinese drive illegal ivory trade boom”:
" it represents just a fraction of the ivory that’s trafficked from Africa to China to meet the demand for ornate carvings so prized by wealthy Chinese, often selling for tens of thousands of dollars."

@GeorgeInAZ
No GeorgeinAZ pollute the environment, expose the natives to Western diseases, enslave the masses to work in the diamond/goldmines, kill off all of the wildlife, and ravage the land. It is people like you who have exploited Africa over the centuries claiming “progress”. What a utter ignoramus you are! AzzHoleAGowa!!
Katman said, 4 months ago
Oh, and by the way GeorgeinAZ how many slaves do you own? ExploiterAGowa!!
GeorgeInAZ said, 4 months ago
Yes, Katman, people like me and Howdy Bill and Tarzan — we’re all ignoramuses and own thousands of slaves. You certainly have us pegged.
Why do you even read this strip when you could be memorizing The Nation and Mother Jones ( i know, if you tried to read that much, your lips would be exhausted!)
GeorgeInAZ said, 4 months ago
Oh, and @Katman, feel free to have the last word, as I imagine you’re running out of them.
Katman said, 4 months ago
Au contraire Georgie-boy, I always let intellectual snobs such as yourself to have the last word…don’t wish to bruise your sensitive ego after all. Have a really nice and Jesus loves you! You sound like a corporate politician…….
