Maybe start a little smaller than diving right into helicopter manufacturing? Baby steps Bill.

A bit smaller. The Wright brothers started with a bicycle shop. Let’s try that first. Next we can have peniclllin, steamed brocolli and a tax structure. Flying birds in about a year….

Well, they DO speak English very well, which I’d call pretty clever, considering their remoteness from “western” cultural contamination.

Let’s see. First it would be rather difficult to read the comic if it was done in their language. Second, modern medicine is beginning to find out that folk and tribal medicine actually have a basis in fact. Finally, I believe that the king knows it will take time. He knows they have to be taught and that takes time.

Because the second doesn’t necessarily follow from the first. It’s true: humans do have equal mental abilities and potential by and large. This isn’t a “liberal mantra”, it’s empirical fact. Put these same people in our environment from birth and they’d do just as well as anyone.
It’s nurture, not nature – among other things – that has kept most of humanity down; and don’t forget that save for certain circumstances, China, India or the Muslim world – to say nothing of ancient Greece or Egypt or indeed Babylon – could’ve aspired to our modern technical heights long before we got there.

You left out the restraints imposed by many religions and philosophies.

Yes indeed, “progress” will certainly aid them…..like project buildings in now ghetto areas of urban big cities “helped” the poor.
Now they want Howdy Bill to show them how to make a flying “Big Bird”, as if that will ever happen……..and they are going to be very upset as a result.
Africa today unfortunately is a land of exploitation, first the Europeons and Westerners, now the Asians destroying the land, wildlife, and peoples. :)> SuckEmDryAGowa!!

It seems to me that they are well fed and happy the way they are now. Why do they need helicopters and changes? Actually this is all wrong. Bill should be learning how to live a happy life from them and bring the knowledge to the so called civilization. I am very worried about the lack of news about Jane, is she all alone in Nairobi, crying in solitary for t-zan among all those boxes she got at the mall? Jaaaaaaaanegowa!

Perhaps good old corrupt Gov’nor Bisby is back in Nairobi already making moves on her at the mall….“Here my dear, try this one on, don’t worry about the cost….I have plenty of money (stolen from the people, of course)!” :)> SugarDaddyAGowa!!

Well fed and happy aborigine tribes are a myth . . . they die off at average age 30 or so.
