Only in Philly would a Zombie Apocalypse be a welcome improvement.

Thanks to Raider fans, Oakland get a Zombie Apocalypse every home game.

I’m originally from the Philadelphia suburbs and I agree! What are the Birds now, 4-10?

There’s hope with the Phillies. Philly is the diminutive of Philadelphia, while a Phillie is a baseball player.

(My screen name honors Phillies legend Richie Ashburn, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995. That screen name is what Citizens Bank Park should have been named)

What? Why not name it after Willie Jones? “Puddinhead Park”…has a ring to it. Or they could’ve named it after Del Ennis, since you knew there’d be plenty of booing?

This is why we need an edit app. I apologize, I really did mean Philadelphia and in my haste to shorten … hey what do you want at almost 2am ?
Anyway, certainly didn’t want to denigrate the great baseball team with great players like Robin Roberts, Richie Ashburn etc.
The Eagles on the other hand….particularly after that debacle last night !

Richie Asburn was a HOF-quality ballplayer. An excellent center fielder. You seem to be a huge fan. Are you related?

Hey! I’m from the Philly suburbs, too – specifically Maple Shade on the Jersey side. I haven’t lived there in 40 years, but the Eagles are still my team, as they and the Phillies were my dad’s joys, and sorrows.

In Kansas City Chiefs fans were dressing in black (as for a funeral) before the recent tragic events. Also flying “Fire Pioli” and “Fire Crennel” banners over the stadium. (Possibly also using smoke signals, for all I know……..)

the real zombies would appear to be the Philadelphia Eagles
