The call of the next pitch, in the words of the late, great Hall of Fame voice of the Phillies, Harry Kalas:
“Now the 3-2 pitch…swing and a long drive to deep left center field, it’s got a chance, that ball is OUTTA HERE!”

@MagicFan
There are no bad puns, only bad punners.
In order to appreciate a pun, you must have a punny bone.

A code, is a code, is a code. Written or unwritten, it must always be followed.

Wait a minute! How come the other team suddenly seems to also have cherries?

One thing that is curious: Both teams are wearing their home whites. Over the years, I’ve also on numerous times reading Tank seen teams wearing the road grays pitching during what was clearly identified by the strip as the top of the inning. Apparently Miller and Hinds arn’t that big about getting all details right.

Did this storyline just go to the pits?
