In Amarillo, Texas, they have a place with this huge steak that is free if you can eat it all in an hour. Amarillo was also the home of the Buzzards Major League Human Cannonball team.

This strip goes against the grain… rather wooden humour… it just gnaws at me …

Including the bark or you’ll get lumbered with the bill.

    Don’t call me Shirley.
    (couldn’t help it)
Beavers eat bark and the underlying layer of wood.

Years ago there was an Imax movie made about beavers. The ad I saw for it might have given you the wrong idea about the content of the movie.

If he eats it too fast, he’ll end up puking it out as MDF.

(I usually refer to MDF as beaver-barf)

That steak at the Big Texan Steal House weighs 72 ounces, and you need to eat the whole thing and keep it down, or you pay big bucks for it. I used to stay at their motel when I was heading West on I-40, but beware the outside steps to the second floor. Unless they fixed it, one was a bit taller than the rest, and I tripped on it on more than once until I figured out what the problem was, It wasn’t an especially fancy place, but it was clean and comfortable.
