    In Grandma and Alix’s defense, the lake is very close to where they live and is an invasive species there as well. However, they did note that this crawdad was ‘the biggest they had ever seen’ and that should have given them a hint.

    Well, It was Gramma who decided they should let the monster go by putting it in the creek, so she’s pretty guilty, too. Good lesson though for Alex about not messing with Mother Nature.

    Actually, someone called it weeks back when they first put the crawdad in the water. I know, because I argued them down thinking that how can something from just 2 hours away be an invasive species. I was totally wrong.
