    When I brought up my Hawaiian experience a days ago (flew from Hilo to Honolulu and had some aircraft malfunction), my fellow passengers stayed overnight in a hotel. I flew home to Washington State the next day.

    @DAZZ

    Peoria is in the modern world. We have at least two Wal-Marts that open at least to midnight, if not, 24 hours. We are in the realm of civilization, not in the ‘backwoods, ’Dazz’

    It would be awesome if it was Opal from Pickles, but I’ve never seen two comics crossover like that.

    We still have corded phones at our house. Our current house, which was built in 1956, has a phone shelf in the kitchen. There is no outlet nearby, to plug in the base for a cordless phone. We also have a corded phone in the bedroom, and in the basement.

    Best tractor museum in the world is in Woodland, CA. While there, travel 20 miles to Sacramento’s fabulous railroad museum.
