Curry is actually pretty bright, and will be staying at NBC to cover more “hard news”. Given pressure on “electronic media” to dumb everything down, intelligence IS a liability for “anchors”. “Today” started as a real news program, and has dropped to a discussion forum for nail polish and reviews of “cheap” housing prices in cities where nobody in their right minds wants to live, so?
