^The short book of James in the bible does do a pretty good job of summarizing what “Christians” should believe, and do. But I don’t think it gets read much.
AS a “secular Buddhist”, I AM willing to accept the teachings of kindness in the book, but not the hate and persecution, which certainly has ruled the actions of folks using (and distorting for their purposes) both Old and New Testaments, including Islam btw.
