Do you suppose that they tried to use COBOL to write that web site?

Ted Cruz gets his expensive health care insurance from Goldman-Sachs. Goldman Sachs gets a tax break. Tax payers are therefor helping to foot Cruz’s health carebills.

What? I went to the federal site – it took my information and correctly referred me to my state site. Does that make me one of the ones who couldn’t sign up on the federal site? I. am. not. supposed. to sign. up. on. the. federal. site. So I went to my state site, entered name and address, etc, and was given how much my subsidy/tax refund would be and a long list of potential plans. Did anything not work? No. Before I comment on whether anything is broken, I have to know a firm definition of what “broken” means in this case.

That would have been an improvement… Maybe they used FORTRAN or Basic 0.01

He is STILL on the G-S insurance, despite the aged reference to G-S insurance for illuminative purposes. It was his conservative critics who called out Cruz’s hypocritical personal health-care plan by the way.

A friend works for what is now a contractor to Blue Cross, that doe MEDICARE: she’s a programmer in COBOL, still in use by many financial institutions. Bad programming is about as “new” and surprising as the sun rising in the morning.

And here’s another kicker…there’s nothing wrong with the tech-company – they only had two weeks two set it up: IT’S OBAMA – IF YOU DON"T HAVE to live up to standaRDS : WHY WORRY ABOUT MAKING IT WOrk for the people? He’ll just pass a decree, I mean an executive order to “fix” it.

Dinosaurs got so big they eventually evolved a tiny secondary brain near the tail to deal with what was going on in the back half of the body, because it took too long for signals from the tail end to get up to the head and back.
