    Yeah, just evaluating 26,000 studies, over 90,000 scientists, and 97% agreement in the global scientific community vs. a loser troll with nothing to do on 4th of July but complain about “liberals.” Stupid science getting in the way of your “beliefs” again. Go read your bible – all life came walking off a boat, two by two.

    And NO answer to this little conundrum;
    According to the book of fables and fairy tales know as "The Bible, “Adam” and “Eve” were the ONLY people in the entire world, living in the “Garden of Eden”. They had 2 AND ONLY 2 children, both boys. One killed the other, and was banished from the garden. He supposedly “Went into a far land and took himself a WIFE!”
    WHERE did she come from??

    Just a theory, Eve had other children who for some reason had left Eden. Which explains the wife and the increase in pain in childbirth. (otherwise, Eve would have nothing to compare the pain to.)
    Some myths take more explanation than others.

    There will always be flat-earthers among us, who think it’s just fine to sh*t in our own nest.

    On a fire in Southern California, we had a 180 degree wind shift as we were going into a fire. In the chaparral, that fire turned and ran, covering over a mile and a half in the time it took us to run about 250 meters up a ridge to cover across a fire break on the crest.

    If you’ve ever had a fire “crown out” over you, you know how things like this can happen, but are among the lucky ones who escaped with your life.

    Having spent years in fighting wildland fires, it’s part of how I’ve observed the on the ground impacts of anthropogenic climate change, and seen that it’s real.

    We need to honor the firefighters who lost their lives, THANK YOU, STEVE, but if the country continues to refuse to acknowledge the science, fact, and danger of what we’re doing to the planet, things will only get worse, and the sacrifice WILL be more lives, not just money and “possessions” they’re out to defend.

    In order to prove causality, one needs a controlled experiment. Maybe lung cancer causes people to smoke, instead of smoking causes lung cancer?

    So we took some mice. We randomly assigned 1/2 to smoke, and 1/2 NOT to smoke, and the 1/2 that had to smoke got lung cancer, while those that didn’t smoke, didn’t.

    die Maus ist kein Mensch

    Which I take as conclusive proof that smoking does NOT cause cancer, and burning fossil fuels is good for the planet.

    If the residents had agreed to Controlled Burning, this tragedy
    need never have happened.
