People persist in claiming that the influence of liberalism is pervasive in our society when in fact it’s the influence of major corporations.
The pledge of allegiance was originally an advertising ploy, introduced at the World’s Fair. To me, that spells propaganda from the get-go. While I won’t pledge to a flag, I DO pledge allegiance to my country.
You should read THE BUSINESS PLOT, by Gen. Smedley Butler. You’ll have to look for it, as it was published in 1930-something, I can’t remember the exact date. Butler was the most decorated soldier in US history.
