    The profession is not vilified. It is the union that is overbearing and cares nothing about the student. Remember the speaker at the AEA meeting who said that he will be concerned for the kids when the kids pay union dues?

    Not to mention state standards written by lawmakers who have never been in a classroom, administration that could not care less, and parents more concerned about last night’s American Idol that what’s going on in their kid’s classroom.
