“Between steps 4 and 5, before copying, make sure all three check boxes under Video size are unchecked.”

I’ve thought about that, but I sometimes find other links there that I wanted to see.   It is true that I haven’t come across any with the “Enable privacy…” or “Use old embed…” checked, but when I do, I’ll heed your warning.

    .
“Before submitting, I’ll copy the entire message, just in case I need to delete the message and make an edit — which seems to happen for me more often than not.”

Tell me about it!! I don’t do it anywhere near as often as I should.

I’m not that fussy about the framing, I just want to post the content accurately. As you said, it’s a matter of aesthetics.

About today’s strip, and then I’ll leave, I promise.

I have liked very few of King’s books.

He would be a very much better writer, in my opinion, if every time he runs out of something for a character to say, the character says nothing rather than spout an absolutely superfluous obscenity.

The only television screen play of his I have read was really good. He had to write for primetime, and showed that he could. It would be really nice if he applied that standard to all his writings.

Who scares Steven King? H.P. Lovecraft, the real master of horror.
