    Fangs and a free vote don’t really fly on the same flag, do they?

    All that sugary tea rotted them.

    The ones you labeled RINO finally realized those fangs were just wax.

    The Tea Party types believe that government should only benefit them, as only they are “Real Americans”, and that everyone else is an undeserving leech who should be tossed out on the street to starve rather than get one red cent.

    @David

    So you are saying the Democrats are just a bunch of vicious carrion eating ravens picking on the bones of the TEA Party?

    It’s not a raven, it’s a vulture (turkey or black, I can’t be sure which from this picture). As David says, the cycle of life goes on. BTW, carrion eaters are not vicious, they are simply doing their job without which the world would be in big trouble.

    Reports of the death of the Tea Party are premature and false.
    -
    Fighting for the principles of the Founders of the USA is an honorable political position.
    -
    The Founders set up a government by the Consent of the governed. The ACA was forced on Americans, and the public communicated opposition even as Democrats wrote this monstrosity of a law that mandates all citizens to buy insurance….killing a Freedom of choice guaranteed in our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
    -
    The Tea Party is alive and growing stronger and the ACA will prove by the pain and disappointment it forces on citizens, and the opposition numbers will increase and Conservatives will do well in coming elections.

    Thank you for that gratiutious orinthology lesson. I appreciate and defer to your superior knowledge of carron eating fowl (foul?). Now if someone can identify the type of snake….

    @disgustedtaxpayer

    The ACA was passed by majorities in the House and Senate and signed by a President who ran with health care reform as one of his platforms and who was subsequently re-elected.

    @Prius….the ACA was passed by 100% Democrat votes.
    No Republican voted for the original bill.
    The bill was lied about, and Obama led the lying.
    “you can keep your policy”….NOT
    “you can keep your doctor”…NOT
    “it will save the average family $2500 a year” …NOT…in fact the premiums are doubling and tripling for policies meeting the ACA commands.
    -
    Obama was re-elected by false promises and false propaganda…“free healthcare”….etc. Obama got a majority of votes that allegedly chose him over GOP McCain. That majority was not based on the ACA.
    -
    Polling recently shows growing numbers of Americans saying the country is going in the wrong direction! The ACA is a big reason for that polling.

    I love all the erudite comments from people-self-proclaimed experts who have never been to a TeaParty rally.

    @disgustedtaxpayer

    Not all Democrats voted for the original bill.
    I still have my policy.
    I still have my doctor.
    My daughter, a cancer survivor, can afford health insurance for the first time in 20 years.
    Obama was re-elected over Romney, not McCain.
    Polls can be misleading, I think the country is headed too far toward a corporate welfare state. Billions for big agriculture and big oil, but to heck with people who’s jobs were sent offshore to bolster already bloated corporate profits.
    I’m a disgusted taxpayer too, but apparently not for the same reasons that you are.
