    Ode to Fall

    When autumn calls,
    The leaves let go.
    They fall on me
    Like drifting snow.
    And when I open
    The garage,
    They blow right in
    In a barrage.
    Ah, but to have
    A man named Jeeves.
    I’d say to him,
    “Go rake the leaves.”
    He’d sweep and rake,
    And in awhile
    He’d have them gathered
    In a pile.
    But then the kids
    Would all jump in,
    And Jeeves would have
    To start again.

    “Autumn Leaves.”)
