All great men, but Ronald Reagan would be right next to them.
He was responsible for freeing hundreds of millions of people from the tyranny of Communism.
Much like Apartheid, Communism stripped people of all basic freedoms while benefiting a small, privileged ruling class.

Appreciate the sentiment, but he could at least get the spelling of Gandhi right..

Robert thank you for such a lovely expression in recognition of what the man did for peace and understanding. It’s too bad that so few people can recognize what a strong and gentle man he was.

Was it really necessary to draw labels on King and Ghandi?

He decided to leave behind the angry youth he was while in prison, a place that usually breeds hate, to become a better man. That is a solid example of strength. People like you look for ways to tear down real heros and true leaders. What to do you think you are an example of?

“Let’s all flag skippy and moneybag.”

I don’t advocate flagging unless there is a personal threat or something incredibly inappropriate. Showing a poor grasp of the facts doesn’t violate the GoComics ToS.

“He decided to leave behind the angry youth he was while in prison..”

Well said. Mandela did advocate destroying property as a form of protesting the regime. He went to prison in 1962, before the ANC embraced lethal violence as a means of protest.

Worse than that, Reagan opposed putting sanctions on the South African government in the 1980s. Along with the other conservative disgrace Thatcher tacitly supporting apartheid.

I just find it “interesting” if not ignorant to put a Hindu, non-violent, pacifist and advocate for freedom on that mythical Christian cloud. What will they do with the Dalai Lama when he passes to his next . . .?

I disagree, there are many men I can look up to. Most of them are not famous. It’s too bad your world is so small, confined and only linked to faux snooze.

“The vic”: my point was that with reincarnation, clouds aren’t in the picture. No offense intended.
