At least it’s not Caribou Barbie, or Cruz, Boehner, Perry, Ryan, or quite a number of others.

Can’t wait until people see hundreds missing from their tax returns in April because of the Dems.
    Bring on the vote!

Personally, it is now looking like it might be a tie between the ACA mess, and the ultra conservatives mess in general. The only place where the Republicans are going to have the greater problem is in the tea party types trying to tear the Republican party.apart. Hopefully for the sake of governmental balance, they will not repeat the fiasco of the shutdown and debt limit problems at the beginning of the year. Even the ACA problems would pale in comparison to that! Even some of the pundits on FOX have admitted that was a dismal failure. And the milestone of the ACA around the Democrats necks is problematical one way or the other by the time the 2014 elections roll around. It will be interesting if nothing else!!

It’s not at all clear how big a problem the ACA will be in ‘14. Nor is it clear how many will remember the national disgust with the shutdown. November ’14 is still almost a year away.

What Fox called the ’slimdown’ hurt a few people severely, a much larger minority were inconvenienced, and the majority of voters were probably unaffected. Basically, when the Tea types refused to pass a CR, all ‘essential’ services continued, with extra people hired to close all parks, forests, and BLM lands and fine anyone who walked across them. But the MSM convinced the majority of voters it was a disaster.

The debt limit is another story. It’s like when some students confused Hägar the Green with Eric the Red, and their teacher said, ‘No, that’s a Norse of a different colour.’

Boehner made it clear from the start that, while he was happy to play with the CR, he had no intention of letting the US hit the debt ceiling, and the slimdown helped make sure the US didn’t hit the debt ceiling by mollifying the Tea types.

The ACA only affects 5% of Americans. The rest don’t have to fight the website, and rely on their chosen media to tell them how good or bad the ACA is.

The Tea types spoke of ‘death panels.’ So Medicare recipients asked their doctors, ‘Will I still be able to get my treatments?’ and were told, ‘No changes.’ So they know the Tea types were lying about the Death Panels for all Medicare recipients. And anyone who can read knows there is no $5,000 fine for not signing up before 15 December ‘13, and no $3 trillion a year cost that will add $3 trillion (and more) to the deficit.

But a lot of the formerly Obamabot MSM have now started to admit the ACA has some problems.

Enough to push voters to vote Tea?

Prediction is very hard if one foolishly tries it with respect to the future. But our loyal, patriotic gerrymander will do its best: districts where a Republican is sure to win, so the only real election is the primary where the Tea types have a chance to dominate. So there’s about a 50/50 chance the ’14 Congress will closely resemble the ’12 Congress.

This is typical of todays conservatives. They believe their own lies! 2014 will be like 2012, when Karl Rove had to be asked by Megyn Kelly “Is this just math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better?”. She’s with FOX NEWS, and hits Karl over the head with a 4 by 4 like this in order to protect Foxes reputation! These conservatives, they live in Lala-Land…

I’ve lately been comparing some of our “right string” commentators remarks to some old clippings my mom saved from 5 decades ago. The striking “stuck in the dogma” viewpoints are interesting, as those old clippings were John Birch Society (founded by Bob Welch and Fred Koch- yes THAT Koch Industries father) blathering, being repeated today almost verbatim! The TEA party IS nothing more than an updated sector of the JBS, willing to destroy America to “save it”.

The Soviet Union is gone, but “socialism” remains the purest evil, and of course there’s the issue of the “Kenyan Commie” who got elected to serve in the White House. BTW, Iran is NOT the threat the old Soviet Union was, or today’s Russia (brink of bankruptcy), or China (home to a “state” schizophrenia torn by Capitalism vs “Communist” totalitarian leaders).

Which, China and India are BOTH nuclear powers with population in the BILLIONS between them, exactly what will it cost our mere 360 million folks to continue to control those populations? Oh, right, look for the “made in” label in so many of our products from T-shirts to technologic marvels, to pharmaceuticals.

It really is kinda’ funny that those same JBS “industrialists” in America, have totally capitulated to those two powers, and others, to ship our jobs overseas, and the “little guys” they’ve stomped on, are the base of the TEA party support. I find that pretty, well sadly, funny.

Yes, all those leech veterans who served in Iraq. Those same veterans who are denied health insurance in states whose republican governors/legislatures have refused to expand medicare, who would get insurance under the ACA benefits!

Well, the Republicans survived the Millstones of shrub and Dr. Evil, and their THOUSANDS of useless deaths in their wars to make Halliburton stock go up, so the Democrats will survive this…

TROUT: Let’s see if you’ve been paying attention. Can you tell us which President gave China “Favored Nation Trading Status”? (Hint: there was no tea party back then.)

Hopefully the libs will wake up and get rid of the democrat leeches sucking the life blood out of America.
Hopefully the cons will wake up and get rid of the republican leeches sucking the life blood out of America.
I suppose your comments, when twisted 180 degrees, makes sense to liberal trolls, too. Problem is, liberal trolls are a lot smarter.

And just what president opened up our trade with China in the first place? Hint: The only president to ever resign the presidency, and if he was not a Republican then just who was?

It’s Medicaid, not Medicare – they are not the same thing! And Iraq Vets (or any other Vets) can go to the V.A., they don’t need your stinking Obamacare!

In a lot of states, more than 10% of vets can’t get VA coverage, and can get health care no other way than via the ACA dopey!
