It’s not the Egyptian military I’m worried about; it’s the Moslem Brotherhood!

I’m so happy you are convinced. Now think of it this way.
millions of years ago as life developed on this planet, several groups of highly advanced beings (hey they had billions of years – right?) were wandering the universe looking for those elements that they had exhausted at home. For profit. Now once on a new planet, they used indigenous species to mine for them. Finding nothing suitable here, they “created” a suitable slave from bipedal stock in Africa.
Thus we have “gods” in our past. “masters” with powers beyond our comprehension.
Well, they left, having mined a sufficiency of “rare earths” for the time being and may or may not return (though the Mayans have a timetable) and we – the result of their genetic manipulations – have advanced to the point that we no longer believe in that old “myth”.
The ’truth" is out there………ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

If that flower is Muslim Brotherhood and other extreme groups then what is rising in some areas is hemlock. A lynch mob is the purest form of democracy, but is it the type of democracy that is best for all?

@garyhamon
That was an ignorant reply.

Actually, the Egyptian military is doing just what it is asked to do… by the US military, which provides so much of its strength. What we DON’T want is an islamic government.

It’s just a scary name. Americans are better at this. They call it “Taxed Enough Already” and then go after the reproductive rights of woman…

Would you please stay in the right country for once? This is about Egypt, not the US!

This Mohamed Mersi, the new president of Egypt, is a professor of Physics, So if he’s that smart in a secular field of science, there is hope he’s not a hard line religio nut. Physics and mathematics guys are usually rational. The military said they will cede power soon, so we’ll see if they follow through.

The military rules or the mob rules. Egypt is ripe spawning land for terrorists.

That’s what the British said about the colonies. And India. And Australia. And Belize…

You’re right; it’s always a disaster when religious groups take political control of countries. Always best to have a secular government.
Except in America where religion is what we need to control the country.
