500 years – Tejo.. More traditional than ‘sports’ events in other parts of the world.

Wonder which albums went into that cassette dress?
Would running a magnet over them erase the music?

“A chief characteristic of the sport is its use of small exploding targets that contain gunpowder”

    “First played Pre-Columbian”

Believe it or not? I say “not”!

As the largest part of taste is actually smell, doesn’t that mean your sense of smell is compromised as well?

Wonder if the pizza was even good and if they boosted the spices not enough or too much.

So you think the implication is that they used gun powder then too? That is a logic error on your part. However as Wikipedia says there is not firm history of the game or its variants.

Perhaps it would have been better worded to say "The present form of the traditional Colombian sport . . . " I think we could all accept it that way. After all, the traditional form of the game golf had the same basic principal as the present one, but boy have they changed the details of it!

it would be interesting to know if they had some equivalent in the past to exploding targets.
