    I would hate to be swimming or boating in that venezolano river.

    It would have been easier just to go outside and meet actual girls.

    So, if somebody says they have the appetite of a bird, you can answer, ‘You eat two to three times your weight every day?’
    (That’s normal for most birds, as I understand it.)

    In their advanced class, they’ll invent “Girlfriend Pants” that make you feel like you’re being [REDACTED}

    The Shew is another critter that needs to eat it’s own weight every day. And that’s meat not nectar.

    It would be interesting to know what local myths may have arisen regarding that Venezuela river with all its lightning storms, maybe some Bermuda Triangle type stuff.

    The most common cause of death in hummingbirds is not having the energy to wake up. I’ve also heard that they need to eat much more than their own weight but don’t know that for sure.

    As for the lightning storms, Awesome! I’d love to see that. It’s a wonder someone isn’t trying to find a way to collect that energy though. Can you think of the power generation abilities? “1.21 gigawatts?!” – Dr Emmett Brown in Back to the Future.

    Looks like a serious bumper boats ride at the river mouth. Kind of what happens at the mouth of the San Lorenzo when steel head season opens.
