Ah, there’s a method to his thoughts! Sea Slugs (YUCK!) = more time to be awake! But, who knows, Red might even Like the program… ;)

The program should be watched while eating a snack of escargot; a visual, tactile, smell and taste experience.

Well what fun is that ? I would rather get to stay up an hour longer and get to watch something I do like..so this is not good, Red…
    .
I remember when we finally got our own TV, my sisters and I would sneak out of bed and would be sitting in the hall, watching Dragnet, until…. foiled when my Mom, on the way to the bathroom, would catch us…and say, “Hey”…we’d laugh and run to bed…

Red, give the sea slugs a pass, and snuggle in with Rover instead!

I’d much rather go to bed at normal time than watch something like that.

Sea slug is just an unfortunate name for some very beautiful creatures. Try looking up sea slugs and see what they actually are; you might be surprised.

Well said. I have seen pictures of sea slugs and for the most part, they are really beautiful!

Fabulous, colorful creatures – I’m watching the special, Red.

The idea of staying up later is usually more fun than actually doing it. My kids talk about staying up late, but we just came back from Spain where they eat dinner late and go to bed late, and they didn’t like it at all.

and Rick…had to Google sea slugs. You’re both right. They need 1. a good PR firm and 2. a major re-name! MUCH too pretty for their name. Would we love monarch butterflies so much if they were named flying mold?

When I was a kid I resorted to all sorts of arguments to stay up and watch ‘Hennesy’, mostly for James Komack.

highlight of a three day Marine Biology field trip to the Moss Landing Marine lab – feeding nudibranchs to a Navanax (little sea slugs to a BIG sea slug)

I love that he’s actually getting his info from TV Guide. A newspaper would have been even better but many have dropped TV listings .

Limicates like sea slugs though unlike their terrestrial relatives are in bright colors. Some of which used as camouflage. Fascinating.
