I feel like a kid again, when do we eat?

When I was a kid, the length of time it took us to come in to eat was directly proportional to what we were having. If it was something we liked we’d be there in a flash, if not, we took our time.

If it was anything we liked, we were already in the kitchen, waiting to be served.

“When I was a kid, the length of time…” When I was outside, the minute I smelled dinner being made, I was right there! (learned some things about cooking, too). If I didn’t like what I smelled (think eggplant), I was nowhere to be found! I also learned what Not to make!…). As an adult, I just Love to bake; however, baking does Not do wonders for my waistline! Everyone knows the food groups that taste the best: butter, ice cream, chocolate-covered raisins, cakes, sweet breads…oh, just too many to list! But, I make myself eat a healthy meal first, and Then think about dessert…by the time I do, I’m usually not hungry anymore…but in 4-5 hours I will be… ;)
