    At the Irish wakes I’ve attended, it’s not water that’s being churned up…

    Boats leave wakes in their wake. The Irish have wakes for their dead. Red is making a wake in case the fly is Irish.

    Look up “But We Don’t Want the Irish” on YouTube. Warning – it contains racial slurs from “Blazing Saddles” – but the funny part is that an Irishman doesn’t want the Irish!

    Irish wakes, Italian weddings, British soccer matches, French general strikes. People are the same the world around.

    Well I got the wake wake from the strip. Some of these comments are quite disjointed IMHO.

    Cartoon comments are the original multi-verse. Anything that can be conceived, will be and revealed to the faithful. And the rest of us, too. :-)

    Red is quite likely part Irish, given his hair. But I want to see someone give a fly a viking funeral.

    @Tom Flapwell

    His last name is MacLean, so I would rather say he’s Scottish.

    So why does Red want to wake the fly? Isn’t it dead?
