I’ve read this before, and I love it. It begins with the dog saying how everything was his favourite, eating, walking, riding in the car, etc but to the cat it’s “captivity.”
I love how Rover misses Red. It touches my heart. My cats aren’t as bad as his friend’s, but they don’t run to the door and greet you warmly when you return either, even if you’ve been gone a long time. They look up from where they’re laying like, “Oh, it’s you.” About a half hour later they’re begging for affection.
