Living in Los Angeles, I wanted snow, when I was a kid. Now, absolutely NOT!

I just realized RED & ROVER is like a dumber version of CALVIN & HOBBES. I like the comic strip though. It’s drawn really well. And I can’t dislike a comic strip kid character. it’s virtually impossible.

If the conditions aren’t exactly right it will not even rain much less snow. Sometimes you can even get lightning and thunder with your snow. Not common though.

Snow is really pretty around Christmas time, but even as a kid I didn’t much like it – or having to shovel 2 feet of it.

LOVE Rovers expression in the 7th panel. @Goomba345…it is BETTER than C&H. Basset is not pretentious and hoards his tallent like Waterson.

It is NOT a dumber version of anything!…Its a lovely comic strip with great heart…and anyone who thinks differently should come to MN and take this granny on!

I’m glad I agree with you, Linda: You had me intimidated at “MN”. It’s supposed to be 72 tomorrow here in KY. If I went to MN, I’d need a dog like Rover to thaw me out.

We had “thunder-snow” several weeks ago. Always a little eerie.

It is warming yet again in Houston. Gets a little cold barely lasts a week now. We are back in the low 80’s during the day again. Not a fan of Global Warming.
