    This the1960’s they’re in. There were no marathons on TV then. To see reruns
    of TV shows back in those times (like Lassie ), you had to wait until the next day.

    How cool is this today. A colorful kid and dog watching a B&W episode of someone locked behind iron bars. Oh, the irony to be locked into one episode for a life sentence.

    The channel changing knob is on the side? What brand of tv was like that? Ours was always on the front.

    I think it is poetic license; since the drawing is 2 dimentional you couldn’t see what he was doing if it was on the front.

    I like how Red still watches an analog tv with a crt in it. Not only that, he doesn’t have a wired remote. I guess his parents were too cheap to get a new flat screen. lol
