Hi! Drew my prof pic myself, is of me, bc I'm an artiste :P My fave fictional character from a comic is Kim Cressly from big Nate. I feel sorry for her bc she obvee loves Nate but he keeps rejecting her. Can u say h-a-r-t-b-r-e-a-k-I-n-g? My hobbies r painting my toenails( I think I will work in a solan when I grow up bc can u spell a-w-s-o-m-e? :D) and reading comics. My fave comic is Luann, but I also like big Nate. Bc Kim. Also: 4 some reason my fam sez I am 'thick as a brick' which I think means I'm strong. I'm cool with that. C u in the comments!

‘In the west.’ The WEST! People. We r one step closer to knowing where Nate lives.

Of course, we don’t know what state or town or, frankly, continent.

No, his nose is always like that. Maybe he was just like Francis and Gina as a child and all the brown nosing took a toll on him physically.

    P. S. You’re right! They should indeed try that.

I have but two problems with this strip.

    1. Earlier, we learned that there was a rule against betting in P.S. 38, when Gina bet Nate he couldn’t go a week without detention and got in trouble herself, (with Nate getting away Scot free) with Mrs. Godfrey, because betting was not allowed.

    2. It’s Sunday, does that not signify the absence of school? I know Peirce sometimes does this, but still, the cartoonist has to stay somewhat in touch with the real world, does he not?

Overall, though, I enjoyed this strip, and felt overly satisfied with the results. :D

To be honest, I don’t think anyone would enjoy it if it were quite so back and forth.

If you were in the practice of using proper conventions, as my English teacher would say, then you wouldn’t put a space between ‘’em’ and the exclamation point. That is one of my pet peeves. Also, can you really call it an ‘underdog’ if it is a fifty foot tall ant? ;)
