Charles stated before he died that the strip would not be written after he died because he did not want anyone else to write it. So it went into reruns after his death.
Same as a CD player except the movie was on a film strip in a 7×4×1 inch cassette and played on a vcr player. You could also tape anything from TV onto a blank tape and keep it and replay it. It could be erased and reused.
Don’t we all round it a little. Once when questioned about weight I told them I was on a diet and would be that weight in a few months. It was accepted. I WAS on a diet however I didn’t lose the weight.
My brother made it a habit to date redheaded girls to make sure he would fall in love with one which he did and married her. She was a sweet, thoughtful loving person who the whole family love and she in turn loved our family. She died at age 54 . We still miss her.
