It’s not the media that allows that. It’s also racist when any group prejudges another based on race. But…it’s understood when a minority group expresses “pride”, etc. because white’s have systematically suppressed minorities for 200 years. So minority groups are trying to get a leg up just to get on a level playing field.
First off, you can discuss without yelling…but anyhow… This has nothing to do with the NRA. I’m not a member, but my family has always had guns. I was brought up to treat them with respect and safety first. I’ve never committed murder. What about pressure cookers and Home Depot trucks? All used illegally and all caused mass casualties. The instruments being used illegally are not the problem. It’s getting the deranged person the ability to have easy access to the mental facilities they need.
Can’t say I agree with this one. Coming up with new laws against an instrument that a mentally deranged person uses is a band-aid on the wound. Stopping the tool doesn’t get to the root of the problem. Having better mental health programs is at least a step in the right direction for getting at the root cause.
Sorry Albertonenconi, I’m not a fan of the NRA, but no organization can’t cover up a mass shooting. Especially in this day and age of the Internet & social media. Nor can you buy a gun like ice cream. I’ve bough several and there is a background check required every time.
