That is quite a deal different. Reproductive rights, and womens rights are far more important than pork rights. Of course, bacon is delicious, and everyone should be allowed to enjoy it.
I think the point is you can’t tell who the oppressor and oppressee are. The only real hint is the “pepper spray comment” which alludes to OWS. Otherwise, it could be Iran, Egypt, or Syria.

You seem to be simplifying down WAY too much. No one is forcing Catholics to use contraceptives either, but 98% of Catholic women are using it, or have in the past (think about THAT one due). I am sure that all those women haven’t been forced into using birth control. Also, the ruling isn’t forcing Churches to distribute contraceptives, it is saying that if you are a Cotholic affiliated institition (college, hospital, non-profit, ect) and you provide health insurance, your health insurance must cover contraception. It doesn’t mean anyone HAS to use it. It just means the option must be there. __________________________
As for the sexual abuse cases in the NEA. I had no idea about that. Can you post a link for the group to be educated about it. It isn’t widely publicized, and I think this is where you and I can agree, it needs to be.
I personally think the sexual abuse in the church was so widely publicized, not because anyone wants to bring it down, but because it was supposed to be an institution of high moral ground, a safe place for children and adults, and a supposed holy institution. As for your comment about it being “Homosexual predation” that is just simply ignorant and bigotted. Homosexuality means you like the same sex. Not children. Anyone who touches a child is a pedophile. Plain and simple.
