Whatever. They both sound like the US. Remind me, which of these is occupying several countries right now: from Japan to Germany, and almost all points in between? We have at least 700 bases worldwide, the better from which to be mischievous, and more nukes than anyone else, etc.

Then there are our “black sites,” where we torture and indefinitely detain–ie, cage forever–people whom we just tag with our scary label du jour.

We’re the country our leaders are warning us to fear.

“Ronald Michaelson, member of the McCain-Palin ‘Honest and Open Election Committee’ admitted over the weekend to The Politico, ‘Do we have a documented instance of voting fraud that resulted from a phony registration form? No, I can’t cite one, chapter and verse,’ he said. Asked whether his own party [Republican] was responsible for fostering that perception, Michaelson said, ‘Well, it doesn’t help. It has captured the attention of a lot of people.’ Why do it, then? ‘Maybe it’s because there’s nothing else to talk about,’ he said.” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bertha-lewis/acorn-smears-setting-theb140717.html

The toilet, what else? Is Joe done with it yet? No, it wasn’t clogged.

Conflating registration with voting, nicely dumbed-down. Can you point to any actual VOTE fraud? Massive vote fraud is a myth by which hacks are trying to jack this nation to the Waste Land of four more years of looting and pillaging as policy. You show a black male voter, magically multiplying, talking to a white female reporter, but no ACORN rep to say, “Oh no you won’t!” ACORN duly reported the fraud with which you now accuse them. So who’s frauding whom? That myth is busted already, you are slow!

A bald Samson raising the temple? Or, having brought it down, is he now posing as a hero? If the crisis began “more than a decade ago,” as Still Pres. Bush said, then what have they been doing for the last 8 years, watching the temple fall? Or actively undermining it? What if the temple was a block of houses, people and pets and all? Then Paulson is posing as the hero of the malign neglect of state-sponsored Disaster Capitalism.

Nice portrayal of McCain/Palin’s feudal beliefs manifesting themselves as futile, anachronistic, misogynistic, misanthropic (“He’s not a man who…”) ad hominem attacks. What century do they think this is, the 16th?

Oh no you dih’nt! Stop, you’re killing me. Yes, I agree: like Lincoln/Douglas before it, Tuvak/Eye-Pop is already a classic American debate. Coming up: Morpheus v. the hydra-headed McCain/Palin/Bush/Rove symbiot.
