    - Denial, usually the first stage of grief; 8.1 million signed up, nothing’s changing that.

There are lies, damned lies, statistics, and Obamacare number.

At least Democrats get mixed up over HUGE numbers. The GOP thinks “4 dead Americans in Benghazi” is more than “4,489 dead Americans in Iraq.”

Even one American life lost is of great concern. It is the lying about why it occurred that is very bothersome. The best evidence regarding Iraq was presented and everyone agreed on the military actions. Only when it was discovered that WMDs were moved or faked did spineless politicians start rewinding their vote. Lying about why 4 Americans were attacked to maintain your political power is despicable and spineless. Trying to cover it up is deplorable.

I’m having a lot of trouble seeing just “why” letting people die in Benghazi ensures anyone’s power. Don’t see how it’s a cover up either. Do see how Bush & Co. manipulated the info to justify a war and the propaganda arms of the Rs (FOX, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc) browbeat the country into it too. Hardly the best evidence. And you don’t seem too bothered about Lindsey Graham’s lying.

Honestly, I’ve never understood the vitriol coming from the GOP on Obamacare. It used to be that if you could convince your political opponent to abandon what their base would have preferred in implementing a major policy initiative (single-payer healthcare) and instead go with a market-based solution that entrenches the established health care insurance companies that came out of the Heritage Foundation (not known for their liberal views), and then first implemented by a Republican governor in a blue state….well, we used to call that a VICTORY in politics.

Instead, Obamacare seems to be tied into our reflexive political noise machine. Obama for it? Then it must be awful. If the Bush administration had proposed this way back when, would mainstream GOPers have opposed it? Not likely. It’s all about who is backing it, not the merits of the policy.

What you ignore is; that while Obamacare MAY be based off Romneycare in Mass. when he was governor, the scope is vastly different. Romneycare was 70 pages vs Obamacare at 2074 pages. Second Romney care was implemented on one already high tax state, Obamacare ram rodded down the throats of 49 states of varying tax structures, populations and income levels. In other words Romneycare is one size fits 6.646 million while Obamacare is one size fits 313.9 million.
    .
Obamacare is poorly planned, poorly executed boondoggle from a president more concerned about his legacy than the well being of the country he is in charge of. It takes a special kind of stupid to implement a program with a scope that massive when the country (specifically the working class that will bear the burden of Obamacare) has not yet recovered from the last recession.

Hey TJDestry: the government did not lie about Iraq. But when you have an extreme left winger in the White House the lies must flow to reach the statist’s goals.

Nobody covered it up. There is no Benghazi scandal outside of FOX Noise, the Teabagger Party, and Daryl Issa’s addled brain.

Out of the 8 million that have signed up, how many have made a payment? How many were people who lost their insurance because of obamacare to start with. At least 3 million had insurance before obamacare.

That is where you are missing it. It is the failure to act before and during and the lying and cover up that is the issue.

What I don’t understand is why people are saying he had no WMD’s? By international law chemical weapons ARE WMD’s! The same charge we are making against Assad. Ask the Kurds if Iraq had chemical weapons. They blantantly used them against Kurd civilians.
