A small town in the American Southwest... everything in the desert is designed to prick you, wound you or eat you. What better metaphor for 21st century Earth? Prickly City is a comic strip about the friendship between Winslow, a coyote pup, and Carmen, a straight and narrow kind of kid. Prickly City offers a conservative perspective on political and social events within an ongoing storyline. As Carmen might say, "We may not be correct but we will always be right."
Their high jinks provide endless laughs as Winslow gets into trouble and Carmen follows. Join Carmen and Winslow for their adventures in the desert!

Humans will always let you down eventually. Our Creator is the only hero who will never let you down.

That’s so true, as long as you don’t count the millions that Hitler did in or the many many millions that Stalin killed. BUT I think maybe the “creator” was on vacation those weeks.

First of all, kevin78661, I see you’re using the old tack of blaming God for the evil that men do. Yes, He could keep all of us from doing any evil, but then wouldn’t that take away our free will? I’m sure you’d be the first to have a fit over Him doing that. Anyway, my real comment is just to quote the Randy Stonehill song, “The Gods of Men”:
" I used to dream of being a hero,
Yeah, I told myself I’d never fall down.
But I couldn’t take the strain and Jesus is the name
Of the only hero I’ve ever found."

Technically, Creator not a man nor even human.

Hmmm, perhaps you are unaware that Hitler and Stalin’s regimes were both atheistic. Atheistic regime atrocities and killings make all the “religious” killings in history pale by comparison. Also, if someone claims to be a Christian and does such a thing, they are going AGAINST the tenets of Christianity, while such abhorrent behavior is perfectly consistent with an atheistic worldview since it lacks any valid basis for objective morality in the first place. And finally, the evils of this world WE brought on ourselves by rejecting our Creator and telling him we could run things better without him, and all this mess is the result. Next time, look into the facts before you speak.

Never said he was purely human, I called him a hero. And he did take on human form, so the comment stands.

The thing that most people who use that argument ignore is that both Hitler and Stalin ignore that there was a God. God gave free will so we can do what the Hell we like. We were not created for life on Earth, so to God, having a successful long life on Earth is not His cause or end desired result.
But my point is, the actions of Hitler and Stalin are those of someone who acts as if there was no God. So its rather counter productive to say “see there is no God, so we should all live as if there was none” unless you are using Hitler and Stalin as heros to live up to their standards…in which case you wouldnt be using their atrocities as an example of something bad.
in other words, its hypocritical.

Finally, id like to ask…..why are Carmen and the Dingo always running through their strips? (which i guess is better than stripping through the ruins.)

@Steven Young
These strips follow the same motif as Calvins sled rides.

True. Even the Bible says we are made in His “image,” but not that He is human. And that image includes both male and female. . .
