A small town in the American Southwest... everything in the desert is designed to prick you, wound you or eat you. What better metaphor for 21st century Earth? Prickly City is a comic strip about the friendship between Winslow, a coyote pup, and Carmen, a straight and narrow kind of kid. Prickly City offers a conservative perspective on political and social events within an ongoing storyline. As Carmen might say, "We may not be correct but we will always be right."
Their high jinks provide endless laughs as Winslow gets into trouble and Carmen follows. Join Carmen and Winslow for their adventures in the desert!

Yes, and by far the most of such recipients live in most of the states that voted for Mitt Romney. It was the economy driving East and West Coasts, along with the most industrialized states of the North that placed President Obama back for four more years!

Most of the welfare in the USA is doled out to corporate welfare, military-industrial welfare, and pharmaceutical welfare. Objectivism has been thoroughly discredited and its queen was a morally bankrupt useless eater, who never produced anything above a sophomore level essay and tedious unbelievable novels.
Social Security and Medicare are not welfare, they are a safety net the recipients or a member of their family funded with taxes.

There’s one bright spot for you: President Romney would have sold you out quicker than you can say jack.

So I guess: Better the communist you know, than the business man you don’t.
@Robert Landers Amazing how either uninformed you lefties are, or just totally delusional rewriting history and events to suit what you want. I would feel sorry for you if you weren’t so brain damaged.

@Robert Landers
False equivalency. The federal government owns most of the land in Alaska, for instance, which denies the state a tax base. And then “blue staters” decry them for being net recipients of federal grants.
Anyway, if you haven’t noticed, the industrialized North is mostly rusting out. The growth in manufacturing is mostly in the South. That’s where the car companies who didn’t need bailouts have lots of their plants.

@JusSayin. I guess you are “just saying” since you have nothing better to do. I’d like if it we actually tried capitalism. Ayn Rand actually was very prescient. She predicted this false dichotomy between statists of the “Left” and statists of the “Right.” In reality Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are two sides of the same coin. I’m not terribly disappointed in the outcome of the election since it didn’t offer a real choice, anyway. My only concern (a big one, though) is the Supreme Court. GOP nominees often moderate as time goes by. Democrat nominees just get more statist. Remember, it was the “liberals” who gave us the Kelo decision (which is nothing but corporate welfare).

Four more years of socialism, lying incompetence, driving ourselves deeper into debt, tax theft, creating an ever increasing welfare state where more and more suck off the government teat, supporting illegal aliens, and killing our own children. I don’t know how the popular vote went, but it’s a sad state of affairs when this is what the average, dumb-as-a-post American voter requests.
