I have a sister that can do that- write two different things at the same time. Other than that talent, she’s a real PIA- but that’s another story.

I hated math and science too but that’s no reason to give up on them. You just have to work harder on them than on the right brain subjects.

I love science, can’t do math very well. In fact very poorly.

Actually, to be specific, it could be said math and science are for the right brain, since the right brain controls the left side of the body, and therefore the creative instincts. Obviously, Jeri’s right handed so she’s controlled by her left brain because she has no creative instincts. (I know there’s more to it than that, but it illustrates a point)

I’ve always thought that with math, you have to suspend belief a little and just check out the techniques until you take the next level, which often reveals what the previous level was all about. Subtraction makes no sense without Addition and maybe ruler math (5-inches minus 2-inches makes 3-inches, using 2 rulers). Multiplication makes no sense without both, etc, all the way through Calculus. But you fail any level without a good understanding of the previous levels.

I like science and am an artist and to a point a writer. I was born left handed but forced to be right handed.

My brothers were right-forced lefties. When I discovered that my daughter was left-handed, my mother told me I should force her to use her right. I told her I would do no such thing!
