    I hated math and science too but that’s no reason to give up on them. You just have to work harder on them than on the right brain subjects.

    I’ve always thought that with math, you have to suspend belief a little and just check out the techniques until you take the next level, which often reveals what the previous level was all about. Subtraction makes no sense without Addition and maybe ruler math (5-inches minus 2-inches makes 3-inches, using 2 rulers). Multiplication makes no sense without both, etc, all the way through Calculus. But you fail any level without a good understanding of the previous levels.

    My brothers were right-forced lefties. When I discovered that my daughter was left-handed, my mother told me I should force her to use her right. I told her I would do no such thing!
