Are we sure about that… even the time before camera-phones?

I would not worry about that…It’s only for the self centered…You can always have your friend take a photo of you…A so called selfie is for people who dont have one…..

I wonder if you have to be trained to smile properly in a selfie. I’ve tried to document a haircut I liked and my expression always comes out as a scowl from concentrating on the proximity of the camera.

They call that expression a ‘duck-face’, but in your case, that’d be pelican-face.

well, at least it isn’t one of those Brownie cameras where you have to hold it down to see into the viewfinder which is on TOP of the camera, to line up your picture…..

honest to goodness, we’ve been doing this for decades, one of the few times we got ahead of the curve before our curves got ahead of us… we took on in the pool once and sent it in Christmas cards and got a lot of questions back as to what we were wearing at the time… suffice to say it would not have appear in “Pluggers”

I did that back when I had hair and it worked out well with barbers. I had a relative take the 3 pictures.

That looks like an old Leica M3 rangefinder 35mm camera with a Summilux 50mm f1.4 lens from the early ’50s.
