Just because a plugger’s not supposed to enjoy life? Give me a break. I’ve got a good bottle of wine for tonight’s dinner.

In the dark and all the prices in fine print. Cleaver.

Search the net first to check out the menu and the prices.

That’s called atmosphere…If you can’t see it, you dont know it’s there…like over priced, over dressed places that are no better then Dennys…I hate them, and stopped going to dark restaurants…give me well a lit place any day…

Amen, $35 for two bites of under done fish with a sprig of parsley and $8 for a salad with no dressing or tomatoes and four leaves of wilted lettuce. All in the name of ‘presentation’.

Even worse, it could be one of those joints where the prices are only on his menu (unlikely for pluggers; but it could happen). Woman told Readers Digest that, without realizing it until they got their menus, her husband took her to such a joint. “How much do you love me?” she asked him. Without looking up from the menu he replied, “More than the roast beef; but not as much as the lobster.”

The Internet will have restaurant reviews for cheap and good places.
