Yeah, I hate that too…gravity is workin’ on me…I’m a half inch shorter than I was just two years ago…

But he’s still taller than she is, and thinner, too!

I don’t know of any adults who do that.

That with me is either two things: I’m getting shorter by getting older, or I’m slowly reverting back to my childhood (and I’m hoping it’s the latter!).

I used to round up a quarter-inch and say I was six feet, but now I round down a quarter-inch and say I’m 5-11. I figure I can keep that up until I have to round down to 5-10.

My only problem with getting shorter is the width gets wider.

After I’ve been weighed at the doctor’s office and I’m asked how tall I am, my response is usually, “Not tall enough.”

My mom is 96, and she’s lost several inches of height. The usual explanation is that the spinal disks compress with age, so you start folding up like a telescope…something to look forward to?

My mom was pretty short to begin with and she’s in her 70s now. I told her at the rate she’s going if she lives long enough she’ll just disappear.

At approximately 5 feet, 2-1/2 inches tall, I’m already short enough as it is without having this happen to me too!

    Three rules for aging:

    1. Walk slow
    2. Never pass up an opportunity to use the bathroom.
    3. Never trust a F**t (breaking wind.) –Courtesy of my dad, rest his soul
