It’s like that old Popeye cartoon where Olive sleepwalks out the bedroom window and spends the rest of the episode strolling unharmed around a building under construction, while Popeye and Bluto get beaten to a pulp trying to rescue her.
    .
All to the tune of the 1932 hit song “Did You Ever See A Dream Walking?”

They did a similar theme in a Popeye cartoon from the late 1940s, titled “A Balmy Swami”.

I’ve woken up with stiff arms and legs but that’s the norm of sleeping a lot I suppose.

I remember “The Rose and the Thorn”. I believe it was a second feature in Detective Comics.
