    Only Earl would cut out a piece of cake like that.

    You want sweet, Earl? Take a corner—it has more frosting.
    Unless this was a filling like custard in it, then you had it right.

    If it’s slightly undercooked then the middle will be nice and gooey.

    Add to my list: people who frost the cake while it’s still in the pan. And when it’s done correctly, I like a middle piece too because I’m not a big fan of frosting.

    I like the corners. Especially corner-brownies.

    A good way to avoid the sweet goo around the edge.

    Cake is cake. Just because you don’t see this done very often, doesn’t mean it can’t be done this way.

    It ticks me off that she doesn’t appreciate Earl’s original idea.

    @TEMPLO S.U.D.

    I always cut my doughnuts square so I don’t have to keep re-rolling the scraps; the dough gets tough when you do that. Plus, it’s faster.
