    One of the pieces of wisdom is to be honest, even when it limits the output to a single page.

    I tried that once. I got about 4 pages and then I realised it wasn’t a memoir of what actually happened, just a bunch of musings. But at least I didn’t start a blog on the strength of it. The world isn’t panting to know my inmost thoughts, that’s for sure.

    I’m afraid my memoirs would make something like “Running with Scissors” seem all sweet and flowery in comparison. Some sewers are best left buried.

    @Vegas Viper

    Ah, another example of a trend I’m seeing in English: must have wrote, shouldn’t have did it, could have came, etc. It’s too early to know if these will remain errors forever, but English evolves (doest thou no agree?), and someday the past participle may end up being replaced by the past perfect.

    He just wrote down the really important stuff, that’s all.
