That happens to me too. The busier I am the less I remember what I bumped into. But I never have any interesting looking bruises.

I was told that the little “mystery bruises” on my hands and arms are caused by small capillaries that burst. This is more common in cold, raw weather. I live in a flat with no heat or insulation; it seldom gets down below freezing but when it’s in the high 30s F you notice it more.
