   I thought a friend of mine had brought the TV remote to church with her…nope, it was her cordless landline phone. She said the signal would reach her and her husband refuses to answer the phone anyway, whether he’s home alone or not.

   I find it annoying that people forget to silence their phones in church anyway, but taking your landline with you?

   I am a chemistry teacher and one day in class I reached in my bag to take out my graphing calculator to solve a problem. My students laughed when I held the TV remote in my hand!

    I’ve been working on an index to my comic strip archive and I haven’t gotten to the folders of Remote Control comics yet

    If I remember right there are about 400 to 500 comics about Remotes in my archive and I would bet by the time I finish indexing them I will have found dozens of variations on this theme

    Can’t say how many times I’ve grabbed the remote to make a call. When they are set down on the front they look alike!

    My over 60 sister was complaining that her cell phone never rang while her daughter was looking at it. It suddenly burst into a song, (her ringtone) and honest-to-God, she blurted out, What IS THAT?
