Back in the sixties my dad wore the buzzcut. He had a full head of hair, but just scrubbed it with bar soap. Never went bald.

One split end is enough. No need for both ends to be split.

My grandfather had a full head of beautiful white hair. Everyday he’d wash it over the sink with Ivory soap.
I think hair is probably a genetic trait. While I didn’t inherit the premature grey turned white hair ( my younger brother did ) I am blessed with a full head of hair. And although I use shampoo and conditioner rather than Ivory, I have washed my hair daily, when possible, all of my 67 years.

True, baldness is genetic. I’ve done some translations to do with the medical side of it. Which is why you know that all those “hair growth serums” don’t work—if they did, Bruce Willis et al would have used them and kept their locks.

My husband is bald and shaves what little hair he does have. He uses bar soap.

might as well save some cash.

Shampoo is actually far cheaper than bar soap when you’re bald. All you need is a drop to do the job, and it leaves the scalp much softer and less prone to scaling or itch.

Except for those three, all his hair has split.
